Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has paid $2.5 million for a five-bedroom spread in the luxury Creighton Farms golf course community in Aldie, according to Loudoun County property records.
Here’s a photo and video tour through the Leesburg home RG3 is leaving, which is now up for sale.
The football star, who’s slated to expand his household with a planned July wedding to Rebecca Liddicoat, recently acquired the Creighton Farms Drive home from Apex Custom Homes CEO W. Scott Prendergast, county records show. The property is appraised at roughly $1.8 million.
Apex recently completed construction on the 9,000-square-foot home, which comes with four baths, two half baths, a wet bar, elevator and, according to marketing data, a mudroom.
The home is part of the larger 900-acre Creighton Farms development. The community, which is about 30 miles west of the District, is a high-end residential community featuring a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course.
While Griffin’s most recognized for his prowess on the gridiron, he has been known to play a few holes and was recently spotted at teammate Brian Orakpo’s golf tournament.
